The Kulliyyah of Nursing admitted its first batch of students to its undergraduate degree programme in June 2004, at the beginning of the 2004/2005 academic year.  It was established in response to increasing recognition of the need for Malaysian nurses to have a sound academic foundation upon which to base their clinical practice.
